Since this is a PUG, there are no requirements for spec's for any class. Ret pallies, shadow priests, and feral druids are welcome. However, you are still expected to fulfill a specified duty while in the raid. Here is a brief run down of what each class is expected to do while in Molten Core:
Warriors- Tank or DPS chosen by raid leader. Don't be afraid to pick up a mob if the MT goes down, just call it on vent.
Paladin- You are primarily a Cleanser/healer. We understand you just got that shiny new GM claymore, but it will not help you cleanse or heal. I'm a 41 point ret pally, I know they are fun, but when you are raiding you NEED to put on healing gear, no exceptions.
Hunter- DPS/Pulling. Make sure if you have your pet out he is not on aggressive and doesn't have on growl. Healers aren't going to heal your pet, so be mindful of that. Watch your aggro, remember to feign whenever it's up.
Rogue- Sole purpose is to DPS, but if you pull aggro and wipe the raid you'll probably get kicked ;D
Druid- You guys get to heal and decurse. Same as pallies that is your job here. If we have 8 Druids, you can ASK if it's okay to DPS, but don't assume.
Mage- You are going to DPS and Decurse, emphasis on the decurse. As with debuff removers, it is important to get these off as fast as possible. Also remember you'll have an endless stream of people bugging you for food and water, so be prepared.
Warlock- DPS and an occasional banish is what lies in your bag of tricks. You are also charged with creating soul stones, summons and healthstones (at least for the tanks) so bring plenty of shards. Curse of elements, shadow, and recklessness should be on all mobs if # of Locks permit.
Priest- You are the primary healers of the raid. Only with an over abundance of priests should you consider asking if DPSing is allowed. Cleansing is primarily a paladin job, but you may have to fill in where necessary.
All classes that need reagents should bring more than they think they will need. Keep your assigned buffs up on everyone who needs them, and if someone asks for a buff don't get pissy about it, just rebuff them.
Keep in mind that there are certain items that are passed out by the raid leader to those who contributed the most in the raid. If you were the lowest paladin on the effective healing chart, and did 5 cleanses the entire run, you shouldn't count on those judgement legplates
