Well, I think time has come that WoW has completely lost interest to me, I haven't even logged in for at least a month now. Although there is a new game on the rise that I believe will actually be a contender with WoW, unlike Age of Conan, and should last a decent amount of time. It's Aion and is being produced by NCSoft. The game itself looks absolutely outstanding compared to WoW, runs like a dream (Oddly), and will be most definitely better balanced for PVE and PVP. Anyone else that plays the beta could probably tell you the same. Either way, I'll probably make my way into Aion once it's out, and if the beta servers stay through for the launch, I'll probably be playing on the "Nezekan" server for anyone who is interested in joining me.

The only things that really bothered me during the Beta Event were 1) The character talking when you cast and 2) The music changing when it happens too. 3) The toon unsheathed weapon and off-hand to cast. With these three things always happening my Cleric kept lagging up. Other than that, it looks like a solid game. It may hold my interest long enough before SW: TOR comes out.

A friend of mine has been playing Runes of magic (www.runesofmagic.com) pretty nice game as well a bit of a combination of WoW, FFXI, and like Guildwars. over all look is very nice Curse already supports alot of mods for it and the play style isnt to bad either. Like WoW it has PvE and PvP servers and on the PvE server you can flag up if you want there are also battle grounds like wow. the guild system is kind of like Guildwars where you can actually get a Guild place in this case a castle where your guild members can go and have there own area of the game as well each toon has there own home with bonuses depending on what items you place in it. the trade skill stuff is a bit different since your not limited to choices you could level up every trade if you wanted to altho that would take a long time. Also like guild wars you can be a dual class (Mage/Rouge) with each class combo having different skill sets avalible. It's also free to play which is always a plus in the economy, There is a cash store in the game for those wanting to spend real money on cosmetic items or optional things but it's not needed to experience the game.
I havent started playing this yet Only played my friends toon (Mage/Scout) for a few hours and it got my attention if things go south with WoW I would probly start playing this.
Also one of the creature of the game came from blizzard so alot of the classes and elements of the game are close to WoW.

Also one of the creature of the game came from blizzard so alot of the classes and elements of the game are close to WoW. I had heard of Runes of Magic before and there was one very good reason that I didn't play it. When Micah told me about it, he said that, "Once you get to level 15, you can kill anyone in the game." So either the game is unbalanced, or everyone else REALLY sucks. Either way, I was playing WoW while it was out, and now I'd just rather play Aion. But the game sounded like it would be good other than the whole level 15>All part. Abdiel, yeah I thought the whole unsheathing thing was kind of lame for casting too, but maybe some of those issues will be fixed with the open beta here. Open Beta will be running patch 1.5 instead of the current patch, and we'll have a full week of testing.

We're on Elyos side. I've gotten into the habit of just blocking all the bots everyday, after 5 or so minutes everything is ok.
